Keeping Up with the Bloggin'
The summer is over and it’s time to get serious again. I have had a busy summer between meeting conferences, new clients and current clients. I have, however, slacked off on my blog. One of the most important parts of a blogs is updating it frequently. Once a week is a good target.
I have fallen short of that. What are the reasons? Not a lack of ideas, but over thinking. We usually consider writing as a need to be perfect. Revision is an art form, especially to skilled writers, including attorneys. However, we have to consider a blog more of a conversation with free form writing and current events partaking, not being observed.
Too much is too much of a commitment for both the writer and reader. Frequency of updates is the key to the search engines.
When writing a blog, do not be afraid to make mistakes.
Don’t be afraid to let it go. That’s what I just did.
Do avoid procrastination.
